Leuven --St. Pieter’s Hospital

The former site of AZ Sint-Pieters Hospital in the historical center of Leuven is being redeveloped by Resiterra. This site along Brusselse street in the historical center of Leuven contains several buildings that have been demolished. In addition to prior asbestos removal and dismantling works, the existing buildings were selectively demolished. The rubble was crushed on-site and removed.

Given the height of the buildings, the location within the city center, and the scale of the work, intensive supervision, coordination with the client, and authorities were important focal points.
